Welcome to Keldan

Keldan is a church located in the very center of the Faroe Islands. Our purpose is to be a spiritual home where people come together to lift up the name of Jesus and be edified. Keldan is a lively church with a broad variety of activities that includes all ages. We are one church, but many generations, who love and serve Jesus Christ, at the same time.

Who are we?

Keldan is a charismatic, evangelical church which started in 1987, after the charismatic awakening worked in and renewed many churches around the islands.

Purpose

We preach the gospel that saves, heals and enables people to serve the Lord and be part of the perfect plan God has for all of us. This is the good news about Jesus Christ who died and rose again which is preached by the global church.

There are various activities in our church. Among these are Sunday service, youth services,
children service, home groups, camps, conferences and concerts.

What else does Keldan have to offer?

Our sanctuary has the capacity to seat around 750 people, and our cafeteria has 250 seats. Together with the rest of the facilities in our church we are able to arrange and host bigger conferences and concerts.

We also support missionaries to help spread the gospel to other countries.

Keldan has a private school which was established in 2010. Primary school and after-school program are part of the school. In 2021 we started a Bible School (BSK). It is a evening and weekend Bibleschool and from fall 2026 it will be a day time Bible school approx 9 months a year.
